April:
On Saturday, April 10th I documented Yobel International's Soup for Africa fundraiser to benefit Woodland Park high school�s student service trip to build a primary school on Canaan Refugee Farm in Uganda this June! It was held at the Ute Pass Cultural Center, Woodland Park and it featured gourmet soups from Garden of the God's Gourmet and live music!
Thanks Sarah and Donavon, it was great to have the opportunity to attend this event!

On Sunday, April 11th I attended the Professional Photographers of Colorado's workshop called All the Key Elements to a Successful Wedding Business featuring Angie & Andy Wood from Littleton, CO. They have been names one of the top 350 wedding photographers in the world and offer the Collodion Wet Plate photography process! The event was at the beautiful Parker Villa and I received some priceless, hands on learning.

March:
It�s official, I am saving up to attend Jerry Ghionis� (one of the most influential wedding photographers of the 21st century and of the top 5 wedding photographers in the world) hands on 5-day workshop in November in Miami!

I have just purchased a Canon 5D Mark II which captures amazing HD video! So, beginning this summer I will include video clips from your wedding ceremony and reception in your photography package!

2009

December:
I have been selected to participate in "Reflections of Nature" Celebrating Nature in Colorado!
Bear Creek by Candlelight and Art Show Opening is Friday, December 4th from 5:00-8:00pm, and the show runs all weekend. The Nature Center is located at 245 Bear Creek Road and their number is (719) 520-6387. I hope to see you there!

November:

April:
On Sunday, April 5th I attended the Professional Photographers of Colorado's workshop on Seniors Marketing and Sessions by the very successfully Rod Evans, who is one of the "hottest senior shooters" out there today. The event was at the Omni Interlocken Resort in Broomfield and I really got an insight into what seniors are looking for these days.

On Monday, April 13 I attended the Professional Photographers of Colorado's workshop called Weddings Simplified� by the talented Travis Broxton, who is one of Denver's top wedding photographers. The event was held at The Inn at Palmer Divide in Palmer Lake, CO and he shared his entire approach to weddings with the group and then we got to watch him work his magic.

March:
I have been published in the Colorado Springs Independent! My photograph was printed in the March 12-18th edition and goes along with the cover story "Children of the Blues." My photograph is of local blues artist Grant Sabin and can be found on page 20. The image was taken at Kinfolks in Manitou Springs after this year's Carnivale Parade & Gumbo Cook-Off. The sub article on Grant Sabin and Co. is called "Mardi Gras mambo". Check it our for your self at their online edition.

December:

I am pleased to announce that I am now the volunteer photographer for Dreampower Animal Rescue Foundation in Colorado Springs! Dreampower has rescued, and will rescue, virtually any type of companion animal and they have placed over 14,000 animals have since it was founded in 1990! I have been published on the cover of the Pikes Peak Bulletin in Manitou Springs' 2008 Summer Fun Guide! 10,000 copies have been distributed to local businesses in the Pikes Peak region. The free, full-color guide highlights local area attractions and activities.

There are many people to choose from when it comes to selecting your wedding photographer, especially in this digital age. I believe that finding the right photographer that captures your vision and fuses well with you is essential.

My goal is to unobtrusively capture the action, beauty, romance, emotion and entire spirit of your day through artistic documentation.

I believe that weddings are about relationships, and I will capture the emotion of them through my photography.
